Main PC
Client demands can vary, so it’s best to be prepared by having a PC or laptop that runs on at least Intel Core i3 with 8GB of RAM and 10GB of available storage.

We like to constantly move forward and never backwards, so your main PC should at least be on Windows 11 or MacOS Monterey.

Clear communication is important when working remotely, so you should be equipped with a noise-cancelling headset – not earphones – with a dedicated microphone.

To put a face to your name when working virtually, you need to have a webcam that lets your client see you clearly.

Connecting with clients starts with a strong internet connection, specifically wired internet connections with at least 25 MBPS and 10 MBPS of download and upload speed, respectively.

Backup Requirements

Backup PC/Laptop

You never really know when your main PC or laptop will act up, so it’s best to have a backup that has the same specifications as your main device.

Backup Internet

Internet service providers can be unpredictable, so it’s best to have a backup connection with a download speed of at least 10 MBPS and an upload speed of 5 MBPS just in case.

Backup Power Source

Your contingency plan should include a backup power station, UPS, extra laptop battery, or generators to keep up with the demands of our clients.
